Journey to the stars
Astronomers buld models to study the planets and the stars . they need these models because almost everything that these scientists are interested in is located far from earth, out in universe. Scientists get important information and pictures from Nasa and other space agencies to use in their research.
By studying the vast universe , we know that our solar system is the earth’s little neighborhood. And Because this neighborhood is relatively small, we know more about our solar system than any other part of the uviverse.. For example, we know that some planets such as earth and venus are made of rock. Planets like Neptune and Uranus are are made of gas.Saturn has at least 30 moons, while Mercury and Venus have none.
You can learn all this and much more at journey to the stars and sxtraordinary new planetarium at the American Museum of natural History in New York City. Come and enjoy this marvelous exhibition or watch it online www.amnh.org/rose/spaceshow/journey.
